New dataTaker DT82E Environmental Data Logger
Analog and digital channels, along with high-speed counter inputs, allow the DT82E data logger to easily connect to most sensors and data measurement sources. It can measure temperature, voltage, current, 4-20mA loops, resistance, bridges, strain gauges, frequency, digital, and serial devices. The dataTaker DT82E's Dual Channel Isolation allows 4, 2 wire differential or 6 common referenced analog inputs to be used in many combinations. Measurements can all be scaled, logged and returned in engineering units or within statistical reporting.
With support for SDI-12 sensor networks and 12V regulated output to power sensors, the DT82E is ready to be rolled out into environmental, industrial and many other types of monitoring projects.Group sampling, logging, alarm and control tasks within schedules to suit your requirements.
The DT82E can store up to 10 million data points in internal memory, with the ability to log as much or as little as you need with independent control of schedule size and mode. Overwrite or stop logging once allocated memory is full. Archive data on alarm event, copy to USB memory or transfer via FTP, the choice is yours.
Communications features include RS232 with modem support, Ethernet and USB memory stick ports. Connect to the DT82E locally, remotely or over the Internet. The Built-in Web Interface allows users to configure the DT82E, access logged data and see current measurements as mimics or in a list using a web browser. An Internal FTP Server provides data to your office over the internet or mobile phone network, without the need for polling or specific host software.

New 2 Channel AC TRMS Current Data Loggers
The new Simple Logger® II, Model ML912 is a battery powered, two channel AC current data logger. It offers two user selectable measurement ranges of 0 to 100 Amps and 0 to 1000 Amps. Flexible current transducers make it easy to install the logger on the conductors being measured. To enable TRMS readings, power line cycle tracking is performed such that 64 samples over one line cycle are taken. Frequency tracking is performed over the range of ±2Hz around the nominal line frequency (50 or 60Hz). The ML912 can store up to 240,000 values at user programmable rates of once a day up to eight times per second. A simple LED display provides a quick indication of thestatus and the unit will operate for up to 45 days on 2 AA batteries. An optical isolated USB port allows for easy set-up and download of stored data with the DataView® software supplied with the logger. Harmonic measurements can also be calculated from the line cycle samples with DataView.

New Wireless Sensor Gateway

The new Accsense B1-06 Direct Access Gateway from Grant Instruments, allows data from multiple wireless sensor pods to be collected and uploaded to a central server or local PC for storage and analysis.
The Accsense System relies on standard 802.15.4 (Zigbee) networking to relay data from multiple sensor pods to the B1-06 gateway. The gateway buffers this data and then uploads it via Ethernet to a managed server where it is stored. The data can then be viewed via a standard web browser in several different formats. The B1-06 also allows data to be streamed to a local PC. The Accsense System provides powerful alarm capabilities including email, text message and voice mail notification, multiple alarm recipients and sequential alarm escalation. Other features of the Accsense B1-06 Gateway include:
- Support for DHCP or static IP addresses
- 10BaseT/100BaseTx RJ45 Ethernet port
- Local buffer for data
- Support for up to 16 wireless pods
- SSL Encryption
- Up to 250' range using 802.15.4
Accsense Systems are used in medical facilities to monitor refrigerators, freezers and cryostats where medicine, blood or other samples are stored. They are also used in manufacturing and warehousing applications where it is costly or inconvenient to run wiring for sensors but where secure record keeping and/or alarming are required.
For more information, visit our Accsense Product Page, or call us at (800)956-4437. For more information on all of the data loggers we offer, check out our web site, www.DataLoggerInc.com.
