AC Voltage and Current Data Logger

The AEMC Simple Logger II model L562 is a low cost compact 2 channel AC voltage and current data logger. One channel can measure AC TRMS voltage up to 600 VAC and the second channel can measure up to 3000 AAC using one of a variety of external clamp-on current probes. It is powered by 2 AA batteries and can record up to 240,000 measurements in non-volatile memory. Samples can be taken from 8x per second to once a day. TRMS values are calculated by taking 64 samples per cycle for high accuracy. Built-in LED's display the current logger status. A USB interface allows data to be unloaded to a PC for analysis and archiving.

The L562 is ideal for single phase power monitoring, troubleshooting residential, commercial and industrial equipment, tracking surges and sags, and monitoring energy consumption.

The DataView Software included with the L642 can be used to configure the data logger, display real-time data, to download and graph stored data, generate reports and to export data for other applications.

New Wireless Sensor Gateway

The new Accsense B1-06 Direct Access Gateway from Grant Instruments, allows data from multiple wireless sensor pods to be collected and uploaded to a central server or local PC for storage and analysis.

The Accsense System relies on standard 802.15.4 (Zigbee) networking to relay data from multiple sensor pods to the B1-06 gateway. The gateway buffers this data and then uploads it via Ethernet to a managed server where it is stored. The data can then be viewed via a standard web browser in several different formats. The B1-06 also allows data to be streamed to a local PC. The Accsense System provides powerful alarm capabilities including email, text message and voice mail notification, multiple alarm recipients and sequential alarm escalation. Other features of the Accsense B1-06 Gateway include:

  • Support for DHCP or static IP addresses
  • 10BaseT/100BaseTx RJ45 Ethernet port
  • Local buffer for data
  • Support for up to 16 wireless pods
  • SSL Encryption
  • Up to 250' range using 802.15.4

Accsense Systems are used in medical facilities to monitor refrigerators, freezers and cryostats where medicine, blood or other samples are stored. They are also used in manufacturing and warehousing applications where it is costly or inconvenient to run wiring for sensors but where secure record keeping and/or alarming are required.

For more information, visit our Accsense Product Page, or call us at (800)956-4437. For more information on all of the data loggers we offer, check out our web site, www.DataLoggerInc.com.

New Food Data Logger Web Page

We have added a new web page with information on data loggers for food preparation, storage and transportation applications inclucing
  • Pizza and Pie Baking
  • Seafood Pasteurization
  • Canning
  • Smoking and Roasting of Meats
  • Transportation of Fruits, Vegetables, Seafood and other Perishables
  • Ripening Rooms
Many of these applications involve temperature measurements. We have loggers that can measure the temperature of a pie as it goes through a conveyor oven, the core temperature of a prime rib as it is cooked or cooled, or the temperature of a bunch of bananas as they go from the tree to a box to the hold of a refrigerated ship. If you are trying to implement HACCP protocols, we can help provide the equipment you need to accurately measure and record the temperature of products.
