New dataTaker DT82E Environmental Data Logger

We are pleased to introduce the new dataTaker DT82E, an intelligent data logger that was designed with environmental applications in mind. The DT82E is a robust, stand alone, low power data logger featuring USB memory stick support, 18 bit resolution, extensive communications capabilities and built-in display.

Analog and digital channels, along with high-speed counter inputs, allow the DT82E data logger to easily connect to most sensors and data measurement sources. It can measure temperature, voltage, current, 4-20mA loops, resistance, bridges, strain gauges, frequency, digital, and serial devices. The dataTaker DT82E's Dual Channel Isolation allows 4, 2 wire differential or 6 common referenced analog inputs to be used in many combinations. Measurements can all be scaled, logged and returned in engineering units or within statistical reporting.

With support for SDI-12 sensor networks and 12V regulated output to power sensors, the DT82E is ready to be rolled out into environmental, industrial and many other types of monitoring projects.Group sampling, logging, alarm and control tasks within schedules to suit your requirements.

The DT82E can store up to 10 million data points in internal memory, with the ability to log as much or as little as you need with independent control of schedule size and mode. Overwrite or stop logging once allocated memory is full. Archive data on alarm event, copy to USB memory or transfer via FTP, the choice is yours.

Communications features include RS232 with modem support, Ethernet and USB memory stick ports. Connect to the DT82E locally, remotely or over the Internet. The Built-in Web Interface allows users to configure the DT82E, access logged data and see current measurements as mimics or in a list using a web browser. An Internal FTP Server provides data to your office over the internet or mobile phone network, without the need for polling or specific host software.

New Wide Range Humidity Data Logger

CAS DataLoggers is pleased to introduce the new TandD TR-77Ui temperature and humidity data logger which provides an expanded measurement range of -30° to 80°C (-22 to 176°F) and 0-99% RH. It features a fast humidity response time of 20 seconds and the ability to extend the probe up to 10 meters from the data logger.

The TR-77Ui has a built-in USB port to connect with a PC for set-up and data download. It also has a IrDA port for wireless data download. The TR-77Ui also works with the hand held TR-57U data shuttle for data retrieval where it's not practical to use a PC.

The TR-77Ui has the same great features at the other members of the TR-7x familiy including
  • 16,000 points of internal memory
  • built-in 2 point adjustments
  • Selectable logging rate of once a second to once an hour
  • Up to 1 year operation on a AA battery
Windows software included with the data loggers allows for easy set-up and downloading of data. Once downloaded, the data can be graphed or exported as a text file for use in other applications such as Excel.
To find out more, visit the TR-77Ui Product Page on our web site, www.DataLoggerInc.com or call us at 1-800-956-4437.

New 2 Channel AC TRMS Current Data Loggers

The new Simple Logger® II, Model ML912 is a battery powered, two channel AC current data logger. It offers two user selectable measurement ranges of 0 to 100 Amps and 0 to 1000 Amps. Flexible current transducers make it easy to install the logger on the conductors being measured. To enable TRMS readings, power line cycle tracking is performed such that 64 samples over one line cycle are taken. Frequency tracking is performed over the range of ±2Hz around the nominal line frequency (50 or 60Hz). The ML912 can store up to 240,000 values at user programmable rates of once a day up to eight times per second. A simple LED display provides a quick indication of thestatus and the unit will operate for up to 45 days on 2 AA batteries.

An optical isolated USB port allows for easy set-up and download of stored data with the DataView® software supplied with the logger. Harmonic measurements can also be calculated from the line cycle samples with DataView.
